1969 Lincoln Continental Mk. III

The new Continental came for 1969, and represented an end to the clean 60s-and earlier designs (with the exception of the 3rd gen), and a start to the excessive 70s designs. With a stand-up radiator at the front, a fake spare tire at the rear, and a lot of gangster in between, this new Continental was not subtle. Because it was based on the Thunderbird, it was cheap to make, but because it was a luxury car, it was expensive--a manufacturer's dream. This one still sports the original hubcaps, and has the automatic headlight dimmer option, which is that thing on the hood.
