The 521 was an updated 520, Datsun's basic pickup, and predecessor to the popular 620 and 720. Introduced in 1966, the truck had the same front end as the 411 sedan, which was redesigned in 1970, the same year the 520 became the 521. This early 521 is a little worse for wear in the front, but has no rust and appears to be completely functional and drivable.

2014 Biarritz: Bringing Formal Back
The Next Fleetwood Biarritz—I don't see any reason why today's angular and flamboyantly styled cars couldn't include a bit of last century's formality, too. This rendering takes Cadillac's maturing Art & Science design language, which is softening on its new sedans, and reinvigorates it with a stark new brushed stainless steel-capped, limousine-like rear window. Interior would be sumptuous, with seating for four on fine fabrics and leathers. The elegant mid Fifties Brougham is recalled inside as well, with silver vanity and tumbler set, as well as umbrella and Arpége by Lanvin in a cut crystal atomizer.

1972 AMC Hornet SST
The Hornet was AMC's compact, competing with the Nova, Maverick, and Dart, as well as the new imports. It was introduced in 1970, and would last until 1977, though the same basic car formed the base for the "new" Concord. By the mid 70s, the Hornet was available in sedan, coupe, wagon, and hatch body styles, and, for 1971 only, the sporty SC360. Styling was handsome and modern, and looks great in this blue and white two-tone.

1985 Datsun Nissan 200SX Turbo
The 3rd gen 200SX made its debut in 1984, and lasted until 1988. Like its predecessor, it was available as a fastback or a notchback. These 200SXs always seemed surprisingly large to me, based on their looks and competitors of the time. This car has a 1.8 turbo, which calls for a spoiler, hood bulge, and lots of badges to identify it as such.

Repost: Mazda RX-8 Notchback
One of my least-viewed chops of all time, lol, the Mazda RX-8 notchback. I'm not sure why this hasn't been more popular, I love it, but I think it could be the fact that the RX-8 just wasn't very popular. I shortened the wheelbase and took away those Saturn-like rear half doors. This would be a 2-seater with a parcel shelf behind the front seats for packages. The car could be lighter and tighter than the regular hatchback 4-seater and I think could have provided additional sales. Generally I like the profile of notchbacks more than fastbacks, but give me a moment and I'll find a hundred fastbacks I love!

1969 Lincoln Continental Mk. III
The new Continental came for 1969, and represented an end to the clean 60s-and earlier designs (with the exception of the 3rd gen), and a start to the excessive 70s designs. With a stand-up radiator at the front, a fake spare tire at the rear, and a lot of gangster in between, this new Continental was not subtle. Because it was based on the Thunderbird, it was cheap to make, but because it was a luxury car, it was expensive--a manufacturer's dream. This one still sports the original hubcaps, and has the automatic headlight dimmer option, which is that thing on the hood.

1974 Alfa Romeo GTV
The classic Alfa Romeo coupes are remembered today for the gorgeous looks, and great performance. Though they started out underpowered, by the mid 70s the GTV was a competent performance machine. The styling may be simple, but the curvy rear pillar and large circular lights make for a classic, beautiful, and timeless design. This GTV features the later grill, with the bars forming the crest, and looks great in a very Italian bright red.
